2005 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43

This 2005 launched 3 cabin Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 is comprehensively equipped for safe comfortable offshore passage making with all the wanted extras and many upgrades, most fitted in 2013-14 for a previous owners' planned blue water voyage that did not eventuate. The current owner has continued with a high level of maintenance and more upgrades. This well-found yacht has since cruised successfully on the Australian East Coast from Airlie Beach to Southern Tasmania and Bass Strait waters and has just successfully completed the 2019 Van Diemen's Rally around Tasmania.

Ideally set up for short-handed sailing, this yacht features Harken electric primary winches and a Harken electric Rewind main halyard and main sheet winch allowing the helmsman to sheet on or ease the mainsheet from either of the twin helm positions.

Down below she is spacious and light with a welcoming ambience. She features three spacious double berth cabins, two enclosed electric toilets with hot and cold showers plus a transom shower, a generously proportioned L shaped galley with a new fridge and a well-equipped chart table and Nav station. Her main saloon is light filled and inviting with a large saloon table and comfortable seating.

Her suite of integrated Raymarine electronics is complete with RADAR, AIS, GPS and electronic charting with a new touch screen full function display adjacent to the twin helms. An HF and three VHF Icom radios take care of communications.
Cruising essentials include a dinghy and outboard in davits, a water maker, life raft, spray dodger bimini sunshade with link sheet and full wrap around side and rear clear curtains to keep you warm and dry in the cockpit in the worst of weather.

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 has an excellent turn of speed too and has acquitted herself as a successful Club Racer and Series Winner at her home club. Whether you want to cruise offshore, club race, live aboard or just day sail, this versatile yacht can do it all for you in comfort safety and style. She is powered by an upgraded 75hp Yanmar diesel driving a brand new 3 blade folding propeller fitted June 2019. Just off the slip after a fresh coating of antifoul and Propspeed, she is gleaming after a full hull polish and ready for you to enjoy. Truly one with the lot, your early inspection of this stunning yacht is highly recommended.
